Former ‘Imbewu: The Seed’ actress Vuyiseka Cawe has joined the SABC1 soapie ‘Skeem Saam’ as Buli Matiwane, a cosmetic chemist.
Vuyiseka Cawe, who played Nokuzola in Imbewu: The Seed, has joined the SABC1 soapie as Buli Matiwane, according to Skeem Saam.
The former Imbewu: The Seed star Vuyiseka Cawe took to her Instagram account on Friday, 4 August to announce her new role as Buli Matiwane in Skeem Saam.
“It’s official I have joined @skeemsaam12 do watch my debut tonight as Buli Matiwane”, said the actress.
Cawe debuted in the educational soapie on Friday, 4 August at Level Cafe at Khwezi’s (Samukele Mkhize) high tea and launch party.
Her persona Buli Matiwane is a cosmetic chemist who collaborates with Khwezi on Khwezi’s Beauty, her beauty brand.
After being seen flirting at his wife’s tea party, viewers anticipate that Buli will be Lehasa’s next boyfriend.
Lehasa (Cedric Fourie) also broke up with Khwezi before her celebration and threatened to announce their breakup at her party in order to damage her debut.
Cawe, who is popularly known for her role as a lawyer Nokuzola in e.tv’s canned telenovela Imbewu: The Seed also currently plays the role of a doctor in Mzansi Magic’s faith-based telenovela Umkhokha: The Curse.
