Mampintsha passed away on Christmas Eve last year after suffering a stroke. In an interview with Zimoja, Babes revealed that life had been hard since the passing of Mampintsha.
“At times it’s lonely, having to have this big house all by myself, no more funny remarks from him. It’s been challenging but I must say I’ve handled it very well because life should go on,” she said.
Since the death of her husband up until today, it seems like Babes is not healing. The message she wrote on her Instagram story left fans more concerned about her.
Babes Wodumo is still picking up the pieces after the death of her husband, Mampintsha. In a recent Facebook live video, Babes revealed season three of their reality show Uthando Lodumo was meant to showcase their white wedding but now shows Mampintsha’s funeral instead.
“We were separated by death,” she said.
“God took away what I loved the most.”
Babes said she had lost a number of her friends since Mampintsha’s death and hadn’t seen some of her late husbands friends since the funeral.
“I last saw all of Mampintsha’s friends at his funeral. There’s not even one person.”
When speaking about getting back into the dating pool in future, Babes jokingly spoke of her preference.
“Should I ever decide to date again, I think I prefer to be with a white man, somebody who does not like to talk too much.”
She’s now focusing on the rollout of Mampintsha’s Original Shandis Gin, and releasing music.
