Many people were surprised when South African exotic dancer Zodwa Wabantu and actress Manaka Ranaka proclaimed their intention to box. While some assumed it was a joke, others began to share who they would support in this version of Cassper Nyovest’s famed celebrity boxing contests.
The fight occurred over the weekend, and let’s just say social media users were not impressed.
The match took place on Saturday 21 October at the Ridge Casino in Mpumalanga. Tickets for the event were sold for between R100 and R1000.
And now videos for the fight have left X users laughing at those who spent their hard-earned cash to watch the fight, which many have called “nonsense”.In the ring, the ladies appear to have no clue how to box and rather bizarrely chase each other around the ring.
X fans laughed out loud in the comments space as they reviewed how horribly both Zodwa and Manaka performed. Many people were relieved that they hadn’t spent their money on fight tickets.
