The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) is offering an exciting opportunity for qualifying students and unemployed graduates living in Johannesburg to join the Human Settlements Internship Programme 2025. This programme provides hands-on work experience aligned with academic or post-academic goals.

Stipend:
- R10,109.86 per month (for graduates with completed qualifications – minimum 120 credits)
- R3,500.00 per month (for currently enrolled students)

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in:
- Business Management
- Business Administration
- Public Management / Administration
- Or a related field
- No prior work experience required
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing)
- Computer literacy in MS Office (particularly Excel)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional administrative support to the Business Management Directorate
- Assist with monitoring, evaluation, compliance, HR, and strategic planning tasks
- Conduct site visits or risk assessments to validate project data
- Support drafting of reports, concept notes, business plans, and quarterly submissions
- Manage confidential documents and information
