According to sources close to the talented radio superstar, Ranaka approached the station mandarins after her discharge from a Pretoria mental hospital and proposed that they negotiate a mutual separation agreement.
Ranaka has been off the air for nearly two months after suffering from another episode of depression that resulted in her contemplating suicide.
This, according to the deep throat, was because the wonderful radio and television star was still sick and needed time away from the airwaves to focus on her health.
Today she wrote on her Instagram account that Kaya FM fired her, and she said we don’t need to feel sorry for her.

Few weeks ago , according to the informant, Ranaka’s leave from the Gauteng-based commercial station has been on the horizon since her social media collapse.
Her accomplices first informed the station administration that she would be returning to her comfortable position in a week.
They then asked her colleague Sizwe Dhlomo to take over her morning position, which she co-hosted with intrepid radio broadcaster Sol Phenduka, until she had fully recovered.
Ranaka was taken to a psychiatric institution in Pretoria last month after she posted on social media that she was having suicide thoughts.
“I understand. I understand… Because I’m doing everything I can to avoid committing suicide. “My mind has been so loud lately, and life is fing hard, so fing hard, and I’m trying my hardest, but it appears that my best isn’t enough,” she wrote.
Colleen Louw, the station’s managing director, issued a statement wishing her strength as she fights her battle.
