DJ Maphorisa has reportedly repossessed the cars he bought for his girlfriend Thulisile Phongolo after the assault allegation levelled against him.
The DJ whose real name is Sonnyboy Sekowe got arrested in May after the actress claimed he beat her up. He was later granted a bail of R4000 and Thuli reportedly withdrew the case.
However, the assault case which was opened against Phori ought to be finalized on Wednesday, but it got postponed to the 12th of July.
A source revealed to ZiMoja that Maphorisa was vexed to the point of repossessing the cars he bought for Thuli P after she withdrew the case.
“A source said after Maphorisa’s release from custody after spending a night, he requested that his friend fetch his Mercedes G Wagon and Porsche that he had bought for Phongolo. “To respect the court and bail conditions, Maphorisa chose to send someone to repossess those cars,” said the source at the time,” the publication revealed.
The DJ, whose real name is Sonnyboy Sekowe, spent the night at Thornton Police Station and was expected to appear in the Randburg Local Court on Monday, but the case was postponed. He is accused of gender-based violence (GBV) for assaulting his girlfriend, who is also a DJ.

Is it wrong or right to take everything you bought for your ex after your relationship dooms? Many people are saying what DJ Maphorisa did is so childish.
According to my perspective, ending a relationship comes with a sizeable amount of stressful contemplation and difficult emotions, usually for both parties. While the actual breakup can be a very tricky navigation, not enough people consider what happens post-breakup, until it’s too late.
