It’s unusual for two women who have been in a relationship with the same man to get along. However, in the example of artists DJ Zinhle and Nadia Nakai, the pair has formed a sisterhood rather than just a friendship.
Dj Zinhle reveals that before AKA’s death, she and Nadia Nakai were getting along, and the two spent time together.
“We were never really intentional about the relationship, but there was never really anything that we had against each other.”
“We were always so cool, but we just feel we could have been cooler than we were already,” she said.
AKA, the father of Zinhle’s first daughter, Kairo Forbes, was assassinated outside a Durban restaurant on February 10, this year. The investigation is still ongoing.
Nadia Nakai started dating AKA in 2021, and the two were so in love that the death of AKA was something huge to accept for Nadia Nakai, but AKA’s family supported her, including Dj Zinhle. She shows her support.
Speaking to L-Tido on his YouTube podcast in June this year, the Naaa Meaan rapper said that Zinhle orchestrated her first meet-up with Kairo.
Nadia informed L-Tido that she’d only met DJ Zinhle twice as AKA’s girlfriend, when the Umlilo hitmaker inquired about her availability for babysitting.
