DJ Zinhle defends her decision to keep AKA present in Kairo’s life
DJ Zinhle has defended her decision to keep Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes in the life of her daughter, Kairo.
Zinhle, who is married to singer Murdah Bongz, has come under fire for the way she is mourning her eldest daughter’s late father, AKA, on Twitter.
While Zinhle and Murdah Bongz appear content to make sure Kairo remembers her father on crucial days, the Twitter streets have dubbed Zinhle a “alpha widow.”
Zinhle, who has been chastised for expressing her inability to accept AKA’s death, has been accused of emasculating her spouse on social media and longing for her former and baby daddy.
AKA, who was gunned down outside a restaurant on Florida Road, Durban in February this year, is still acknowledged in social media posts by Zinhle.
On days that holds significance for Zinhle and her past relationship with AKA, or in relation to their daughter, Kairo, Zinhle will pen how she feels about the slain rapper, to much criticism.
The mother of two, hit back at her critics, saying as much as a difference in opinion is respected, the family structure she has with her husband is built on peace, love and support, in the best interest of their kids.
This comes after Zinhle shared a father’s day greeting from Kairo with AKA on Sunday, June 18th.
Zinhle has a daughter with Murdah Bongz and says they approach parenting their children in a way that helps them.
