Actors Hungani Ndlovu and Tazz Nginda have joined SABC1 soapie ‘Skeem Saam’ as Tbose Maputla
Former Scandal! actor Hungani Ndlovu and Gqeberha: The Empire star Tazz Nginda have joined SABC1’s educational soapie Skeem Saam, according to entertainment pundit Phil Mphela.
Former Scandal! star Hungani Ndlovu, who left the e.tv soapie in November 2020, will play Tbose Maputla, while Tazz Nginda from Gqeberha: The Empire will play Sisanda Qhubeka.
“Hungani Ndlovu joins Skeem Saam,” Mphela reports. Thabo ‘Tbose’ Maputla’s role has been recast and will now be played by actor and dancer Hungani Ndlovu. Cornet Mamabolo previously played the role.”
Nginda will appear on the soapie on July 14 as Sisanda Qhubeka, a charming marketing strategist who will cause havoc in the Maphosa kingdom.
Talented actor Cornet Mamabolo, who will be replaced by Hungani Ndlovu as Tbose Maputla exited the SABC 1’s educational soapie, Skeem Saam in November 2021.
Mamabolo whose been playing the role of Thabo ‘Tbose’ Maputla since season took a break from the show to focus on his personal interests.
The 31-year-old actor, also stated on his Instagram account that he’s taking a break from his role as Tbose to focus on his insurance business, Digni Financial Services.
In 2014, Mamabolo co-founded Digni Financial Services, which now sells burial policies and aspires to provide hospital plans, medical aids, disability benefits, and provident funds.
In 2022, the former Skeem Saam actor, best known for his role as Thabo Maputla, joins The River season five as serial killer Lerumo.
