Generations: The Legacy is a South African soap opera created and produced by Mfundi Vundla. It is a remake of the soap opera Generations, also created and produced by Vundla, but with many new and different characters, different settings, and different tones. It is one of the most watched television shows in South Africa.
According to TVSA, it is confirmed that Generations: The Legacy has the green light for Season 10, premiering on Monday, November 20. The new season is coming with new changes that may make fans complain, but according to the Generations team, there are a lot of cooking fans who are going to enjoy the new season.
With new seasons comes the usual culling of characters, either because the actors have something better to do or because their characters have run out of storylines or because they looked at someone funny.

Okay, maybe not, but who knows right?
This year those who’ll be leaving the Generations stage are:
Buntu Petse (now a star on Netflix),
Karabo Maseko and Zizipho Buti, who were promoted to starring cast exactly three years ago for Season 7,
and Rebaone Kgosimore, who’s only been a Moroka since March this year.
We’ve covered the arrival of each of them (links to nostalgic articles below) and we’ll keep a lookout for what they do next.
Their characters Nontle, Luyolo, Tracy and Paul will be on Gen until 17 November.
