Musa Ngema, who formerly acted in Generations, has quickly found new employment after being fired from Generations: The Legacy last month.
He has been cast in the popular SABC 1 drama, Skeem Saam. Ngema, who played Mazwi Moroka in Generations, was reportedly dismissed due to strained relationships with his colleagues.
The show’s producers wrote him off the script, where his character died and his “funeral” was used to welcome back other cast members.
Ngema’s departure from Generations was handled respectfully, and the production expressed gratitude for his dedication to the role.
Skeem Saam, meanwhile, is negotiating a deal with Ngema and, if successful, will join the show.

Although a Skeem Saam spokesperson first disputed Ngema’s involvement, sources suggest the production expects to outperform Generations in terms of popularity and ratings.
“Skeem Saam wants to surpass Generations in terms of popularity and numbers, lately they have been trending almost every day” adds the source.
Another source revealed the show is still negotiating contracts and money issues with Ngema: `If they agree on the terms and conditions he is definitely joining.”
However, Skeem Saam’s publicist Sumaya Mogola denied that Ngema is joining the educational soapie and said: “Who gave you the story first?” ZiMoja told her we would not reveal our sources, to which she responded,” that is not true, he is not joining us,” added Mogola.
There will be some changes to the superintendent of Turf Hospital as Mr. Kgomo was fired, and it is said from sources that Mazwi from Generation is coming to fill that position, and we are still waiting for Skeem Saam to confirm the whole story.
