Generations: Power couple Tau Mogale & Karabo Moroka will return in September.
According to the TVSA September teasers, actors Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphemo, who play Karabo Moroka and Tau Mogale, will return to Generations: The Legacy.
The teasers also hint that Tau Mogale will be released from prison in September and that the Moroka elders will summon Karabo Moroka.
Wednesday, 13 September: “The Moroka elder is summoned to an important meeting back home.”
Thursday, 14 September: “Will Tau accept the opportunity he is being offered?”
Wednesday 27 September: ” Tau is worried that it wasn’t Pele who enabled his release.”
Ferguson and Rapulana, who play a divorced couple in the SABC1 soapie, also attended Mazwi Moroka’s (Musa Ngema) funeral in April.
According to Zimoja, the fan-favorite combo has returned to the show with former The Estate star Aubrey Poo, whose character has yet to be revealed.
According to a production insider, “they are trying to revive the show and also get more ratings.”
At this point, it is unknown how long Aubrey Poo and the couple will be on the show!
Connie left the show for good in 2016 and talking to TMG Entertainment at the time Generations spokesperson Gaaratwe Mokhethi said there was hardly a dry tear on set as Connie said goodbye to her fellow cast members and the show’s creator Mfundi Vundla.
“The cast and crew of the show paid their respects to her and expressed their gratitude for her professionalism, humility and grace. Mr Mfundi Vundla was also present to personally thank Connie for her immense contribution to the success of Generations: The Legacy,” Gaaratwe explained.
