Get to know Mbuso from Scandal

Siyabonga Gcwensa is a South African actor, Dancer, and Over- Artist. He is best known for playing the role of Mbuso from Scandal. He is 19 years old in 2023

Siyabonga Gcwensa was born between 2004 and 2005, most likely in uMthwalume, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

He also lived in Diepsloot, Johannesburg, before finally landing a role in the etv television show Scandal.

Siyabonga has been interested in performing since he was in primary school. His desire was to appear on television, and when he did, it was a dream come true.

“I can affirm that Jack Blackgod significantly aids me in my work. He recognizes that I am young and that receiving training from someone like him means a lot to me, which is something I like about him.”

Because acting is a prominent field, schools and institutes offer courses in it. This is something that black people must recognize.

“I also wish that people my age don’t lose hope in the field of acting when I look at the journey I’ve taken, even though I’m still young,” Siyabonga said.

Siyabonga Gcwensa was introduced to Scandal in 2023 as Phakamile’s younger brother Mbuso, who was serving a juvenile prison sentence.

When he gets out of prison, he robs Malume Ndumiso’s chillax spaza business before meeting his siblings, Phakamile and Nqobile.

He eventually decides to reform and become a better young man for his sisters by looking for work, but his history follows him.
