Thuli Thabethe, a famous South African actress, was born Nokuthula Thabethe on April 5, 1985. She became well-known among fans of television because of her role as Phumzile on City Ses’la.

She was the host of the Mzansi Wethu reality series Our Perfect Wedding. She left the show after one season in order to concentrate on her academic goals. Where Thuli left off, Brenda Ngxoli took on. 2014 saw her get a guest-starring part in the Mzansi Magic comedy Kota Life Crisis. She portrayed Mercia Sithole, the main character, in the Mzansi Magic series The Mayor in 2015.
