According to data from the Broadcasting Research Council of South Africa (BRCSA), 4.2 million people watched House of Zwide on ETV in March 2024.With 3.7 million viewers, the popular fashion telenovela outperformed the long-running e.tv soap opera Scandal!, with 4 million viewers placing it in second place.
The March figures also reveal that Smoke and Mirrors is the fourth-most-watched show with 3.6 million viewers, according to The South African.

In March, House of Zwide became the top show on e.tv after Skeem Saam beat Scandal! in its 19:30 timeslot.According to BRCSA March data, Skeem Saam attracted 3.9 million viewers when it debuted with Scandal! at 19:30.
The most watched TV program on SABC1 is still Uzalo, which is followed by Generations: The Legacy and Skeem Saam, which came in third.
