Refilwe Madumo received his bachelor’s degree from Tshwane University of Technology.
Refilwe is well known for her role as Thembi in the television series Mazinyo Dot Q.
Her success came when she portrayed an HIV-positive Palesa Mooki- Letswalo in the e.tv blockbuster drama Scandal!
Refilwe has appeared as a guest star on shows such as Izoso Connexion and One Way. She also played Zanele in the SABC1 drama series Society, which returned for a second season in 2009.
Refilwe starred as Ruth in the SABC2 miniseries Huis van Liefde in 2008, and as Dorah in the SABC2 family drama series Mamello in 2015.
Refilwe is currently a member of the Generations: The Legacy cast. Fikile, Lucy Diale’s childhood friend, is played by her.
Fikile’s character represents a rich, classy, divorced single mother of two who earned her riches from a divorce settlement. She has a jewellery business and owns shares in Moroka Media.
In addition to her on-screen role, which portrays abuse survival and women emancipation, Refilwe carries the same teaching off-screen. She is involved in community development projects, including rehabilitation facilities and providing a haven for Gender-Based Violence victims.
Refilwe is the mother of two charming sons. She has a very secret life, and her baby daddy is unknown.
She was threatened with rape a few years ago during an armed robbery at her parents’ house in front of her children. Fortunately, the police arrived on time and apprehended the man. He is presently serving a 50-year sentence in prison.
