She also claimed in one of their domestic fights Jub Jub choked and suffocated her until she blacked out several times.
Molemo Maarohanye, better known as Jub Jub, a hip-hop musician, has responded to r@pe allegations leveled against him.
In a statement he submitted to police ahead of his November trial for r@pe and attempted murder, Maarohanye screams his innocence.

Du-pont, a former Muvhango actress, opened a case of r@pe and attempted murder against Maarohanye almost 20 years after he allegedly violated her.
The Uyajola 99 presenter’s explanation is that he went to a popular show, Podcast and Chill with MacG, and alleged that he “smashed” du-Pont while they were dating. The former couple’s romantic relationship later disintegrated after Maarohanye cheated on du-Pont with afro-pop singer Kelly Khumalo.
The detective, who did not want to be named because he is not allowed to speak to the media, said the former love-birds met in 2006 through a friend named Rally Mampeule while Maarohanye was performing in Sandton, Johannesburg.
According to Maarohanye, the cop, du-Pont concocted the charges against him after he made “inappropriate remarks” on MacG’s show about their $exual relationship.
Although he apologized to du-Pont for his omission, the rapper stated that her false accusations could not be justified by the remarks he made on the show.
“He said it appears to him that she never disclosed to her husband that she had a $exual relationship with him, because when he exposed this on the [MacG] show, the allegations followed.”
“Maarohanye went on to say that his comments on the podcast may have caused or contributed to the breakdown of du-Pont’s marriage.”
Maarohanye stated that if he had r@ped or abu$ed du-Pont, she would not have waited for the MacG show.
