It seems that Julius Malema, the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), has graciously offered to cover Shebeshxt’s hospital expenses. Quite the generous gesture!
The Dilo Tse Massive rapper found himself in quite a predicament on Saturday night when he was caught up in a car crash on the R37 road near Smelters Mine in Limpopo.News has it that Shebeshxt’s Volkswagen Polo had a little run-in with a truck and ended up flipping over.
According to a source who spoke to Sunday World, Malema was approached for help by the artist, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Chauke. It seems that Chauke was unfortunately neglected at a public hospital.
“Shebeshxt does not have medical aid, so they took him to a public hospital, where he was not assisted for some time. Fearing that he could lose his life, Julius Malema was then called, and he demanded that Shebe be taken to Netcare Pholoso Hospital, a private healthcare facility in Polokwane, to get medical help” said the source.
The source mentioned that Malema will graciously continue to cover Shebeshxt’s expenses.
The Twerka hitmaker was among the talented artists who captivated the crowd at the EFF manifesto in Soweto earlier this year.
In a tragic accident, Shebeshxt was accompanied by three passengers, one of whom was his nine-year-old daughter who unfortunately lost her life.ZiMoja humorously relayed the news of the confirmed death, with Tidimalo Chuene, the spokesperson for the transport department in Limpopo, as the source.
“A 9-year-old female passenger from the Polo passed away while the driver and another passenger sustained serious injuries. The cause of the incident is still under investigation,” Chuene said.
