AKA one of South Africa’s biggest talents, died eight months ago. He was killed outside a restaurant in February, just days after his 35th birthday. His sad death shook those who loved him, but his family suffered the most.
DJ Zinhle his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his only child, shared a touching message on Sunday about how she struggles to console their daughter Kairo when she misses her father. For the past eight months, his family has been in sorrow and anguish without him.
DJ Zinhle, his former partner, revealed how difficult it is to see their daughter Kairo cry for her dad who is gone forever. “You will never understand the pain in my heart when my child is crying because she’s missing her dad. God help us,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories on Sunday 15 October.
She also shared a video of herself affectionately holding Kairo. Many people were moved and felt terrible for Kairo, who had a close relationship with her father. Many of them conveyed their condolences and support for the mother and child.
However, several individuals chastised Zinhle for recording the emotional moment and accused her of wanting attention.
