Kgomotso Christopher will star in a new steamy Netflix series.
Former Scandal! star Kgomotso Christopher will play Nandi in Netflix’s new steamy thriller series Fatal Seduction, which premieres in July.
“The dark, intriguing series tells a tale of unwavering passion and desire, unravelling in a dark story built around a web of lies and deceit,” the platform said in a statement.
The dramatic story begins when Nandi spends a weekend away from her husband Leonard, played by Thapelo Mokoena, with her troubled best friend Brenda, played by Lunathi Mampofu, and meets alluring tempter Jacob, played by Prince Grootboom.
Jacob arouses Nandi’s deepest desires and causes her to question her truth about those close to her as old lies and secrets gradually surface.
Ochre Moving Pictures produced Fatal Seduction, which was shot in and around Cape Town.
“The raunchy series also stars retired private investigator Vuyo, played by Leonard’s brother Nat Ramabulana. “The cast is completed by Nandi and Leonard’s daughter, Zinhle (played by Ngele Ramulondi), and her best friend, Laura (played by Frances Sholto Douglas).”
Kgomotso Christopher (born 25 March 1979) is a South African actress best known for her time in Isidingo as Katlego Sibeko before joining Scandal as the character of Yvonne “YV” Langa.
Kgomotso earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Politics from the University of Cape Town. When she graduated, she received the Jules Kramer Award for Fine Arts. She received her Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from Columbia University in New York City in 2004.
She continued to live and work in the United States and the United Kingdom until 2008.Kgomotso appeared as a guest on the television shows Madam & Eve, SOS, Backstage, and Moferefere Lenyalong.
She has appeared in plays such as Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet, and Dr. Faustus. Kgomotso revealed on Instagram on November 15, 2018 that she is the voice behind MTN’s Interactive Voice Response system.
