Samukele Mkhize was born in Durban in 1998. She was raised by her grandparents, both of whom were pastors, and she and her brother were both involved in church activities.
Her acting career began in 2006, when she joined an amateur drama, music, and dance group in Kwa Mashu.

Sorry gents, the gorgeous Samukele is off the market. She announced in September last year that her husband paid Lobola for her on Heritage Day.
