Mpho Sibeko is a South African actor who was born on June 15, 1994 in Johannesburg. He is well recognized for his portrayal as the handsome next-door neighbor Mo in Gauteng Maboneng, a SABC2 sitcom. He has featured on TV numerous times and has become a big name in the entertainment world.
More acting roles that gained him prominence include Azwi in 4play: Sex Tips For Girls and JT in Rhythm City. He has also appeared in many other South African television serials including Isono (season 1), Rhythm City (season 1), Scandal! (season 1), and The Estate (season 1). Sibeko was cast in Madiba, a BET’S 3-part series, as the firstborn son of Nelson Mandela Thembi Mandela.
He grabbed his first agency when he was eleven years old. His mother was a big influence on his modeling career. Mpho secured modeling jobs after signing with a modeling agency. Previously, he had not landed any professional performing roles other than those in school plays. Mpho was later cast in The Lion King.
