Skeem Saam actress Lethabo Mekoa comments on being crowned Miss RGP 2023.

The actress expressed gratitude for the support she has received during her journey to become Miss Teen Regional Gauteng Province (RGP) 2023.

Lethabo Mekoa, an actress, has been crowned Miss Teen RGP (Regional Gauteng Province) 2023. The happy beauty queen took to social media to share the news.

Lethabo described her emotional journey and expressed gratitude to everyone who voted for her. She also wrote a letter to her friends, family, director, and modelling couch.

“It wasn’t easy, but we made it! God really can and will! Thank you for having my back and believing in me! I always make you guys proud, and I’ll keep on doing that! I pray that God enlarges your blessings and heart’s desires ❤️I love you guys so much❤️,” she wrote.

Before she was crowned, the model promised to help the underprivileged and the elderly.

“It is youth month shortly after I am crowned, so I want to inspire the young people by reminding them that opportunities are available to them and that they should not second-guess anything they believe. As young people, we have 30 days to occupy this month.”

Lethabo also mentioned how much she enjoys volunteering at orphanages, nursing homes, and communities where she works to inspire young people to pursue their dreams.

“To care for those who once cared for us is such an honour,” she added. To put it another way, I’d like to start a programme that assists people who want to pursue their dream (acting and modelling) because many communities I’m aware of do not have access to such opportunities.”

Lethabo joined Skeem Saam last year as Ntswaki, an outgoing girl who lives in the moment.

What she admires most about Ntswaki is that she does what she wants when she wants.

“Ntswaki never pays attention to what anyone says.” She does what she believes is best for her and pursues her desires. Most of it is bad, but if that’s what she wants, she’ll go for it.

“What I’ve discovered while portraying my character is that me and Ntswaki are nearly identical, so portraying Ntswaki wasn’t too difficult.” So expect the unexpected,” she said in a clip shared by the soapie, introducing her character.
