Major League DJs Bandile and Banele Mbere were nearly killed in a horrific accident on their way to an event in Middleburg, Mpumalanga, in 2022.
Following the accident, they posted photos of the situation, including their smashed tour bus after a vehicle collision and Bandile on the ground.
They opened up about ‘the craziest car accident’ and how they almost all died. “God has really been good to us; we are so grateful,” the duo said.
Since then, Bandile has been limping and using crutches. He has finally revealed that he has spent two years on crutches after two operations.
Bandile has opened up about undergoing five surgeries, and after being in a wheelchair, he is back to walking with crutches. He revealed that he recently had another operation, and he hopes it is the last one.
According to reports, the twins suffered R900,000 in general losses. An additional R50,000 was claimed for emergency medical treatment, and R2.4 million was claimed for past and prospective income loss caused by the accident. They are suing the Road Accident Fund for R3.3 million in compensation.
