Dakalo Molope was introduced to Scandal as Mo, a university student looking for a place to stay. Cee Jay, who has a crush on her and offered her the room, helped her get a place with Lindiwe and Nhlamulo.

Mo, on the other hand, displayed indicators of being a difficult child, but she refused to talk to anyone about her life or what she did for a career.But later on we found out she is Dintle’s chil and the rest is history.

Dakalo, the actress who plays Mo, lives in Johannesburg with her family, as she revealed on her Instagram page. Her parents are unknown, although her followers have seen her mother and younger sister in holiday photos she has uploaded on her profile.

Molope is attending school at the National School of Arts, where she studies arts and drama related studies to pursue her passion.

Last year when she started at the National School of Arts, she played her debut role of Lebo in the Showmax movie Pearls of Wisdom on Mzansi Magic. The film was made with other students at her school, and she got to work with notable talent like Linda Sokhulu, and Sihle Hlope directed the movie.

The Outrage! Dakalo Gift Molope, also known as Motshabi Martins, tells in an interview with Drum Magazine that her life changed eight months ago when she was required to attend initiation school and become a sangoma.

The rising singer also confesses that she recently turned 16 and had to come to terms with the fact that she is not like other teenagers.

She also tells the publication that she’s always known she was different and that she now goes as Mkhulu Phahla Metsing.

Molope also feels great to honour her great grandfather and has accepted the calling because of the things he has already done for her.

“Everything that I’ve gotten in life is all because of him, so honouring him for me is something that I can do every day and I don’t mind going through this journey honouring him and I feel so happy serving him.”
