Mondli Makhoba made a habit of publicly congratulating celebrities on social media.
Mondli recently commended Nkanyiso Mchunu, who plays Mkhululi in Mzansi Magic’s Umkhokha- The Curse.
“Macingwane, saw you on Muvhango. I worked with you on Imbewu. I remember the conversations we had about one’s time and opportunity, how one needs to support genuinely preparing for his time and opportunity. Today, I took time to watch Umkhokha. The Mkhululi character is the one. You are killing that role, sir. And I am happy for you. May all your roles find you back to back,” he wrote.
In his mentions the actor thanked Mondli for his kind words.
“Bhuti, uzongikhalisa, thank you so much Bhut’omdala. This is really humbling,” he replied.
“But, I just think Umkhokha in general was able to identify outstanding talent in all respects. Personally, I enjoy every moment of it and I think everyone is doing their best. Keep it up guys,” said another.
Mondli recently honored Khabonina Qubeka with flowers in recognition of her outstanding performance as Queen Ntombazi in the Shaka iLembe series.
“I recall her from Isidingo — The need.” I recall seeing her in Generations – The Legacy. I recall first meeting her at Bomb Productions during the lengthy pre-production of Shaka iLembe. I recall her on the set of Shaka iLembe, the cacophony in the vehicle from set to base. However, the same shrillness can be detected in her depiction of Queen Ntombazi.
“Today, I’d want to congratulate Khabonina Q for the way you tackled Ntombazi. I am grateful that her spirit picked you. She comes to life within you. “She is always calm, sure, and loving to her children,” he wrote.
