Fans of the SABC1 soapie Skeem Saam will be relieved to learn that the show’s most despised character, Mr Kgomo (Lebogang Oliphant), will be sacked in July.
The TVSA Skeem Saam July teasers show that when Mr Kgomo is ousted by the board, he will not return to Turfloop Hospital as superintendent.
The teasers also imply that he will be fired the following Tuesday, July 4th, since the teaser reads: “Mr Kgomo is humiliated beyond words when he endures a walk of shame.”
The teasers for Wednesday, July 5 and Thursday, July 14 also hint that Turfloopers will be pleased to learn of his verdict and that his wife will file for divorce.
Friday, 14 July teaser reads: ” Mr Kgomo and Mrs Kgomo’s divorce has a rippling effect on Pax.”
The July teasers also reveal that the board may demand him to pay back the R80 000 that he stole from the hospital.
The Friday, 21 July teaser reveals: “Mr Kgomo is told to pay up or else.”
Dr. Hlongwane claimed at his hearing this week that he transferred R80 000 into his account for suppliers who haven’t been paid in three months.
Tuesday, July 11: “A former hospital superintendent finds comfort in the bottle.”

The teasers also hint that Rathebe (played by Gontse Ntshegang) may attempt suicide when Pitsi is shot by his gun in the episode airing on Tuesday, June 27.
Alfred (Putla Sehlapelo) will be a suspect after another individual commits suicide, according to the Friday 7 July teaser: “There’s been another suicide in Turf, and the high school principal is suspected.”
Though the teaser doesn’t mention names, we can speculate that Rathebe [Alfred’s girlfriend] will be the second Turflooper to end her life after Alfios (Tebogo Modisane), who worked with Alfred.
Babeile (played by Mathews Manamela) suspected Rathebe of being a serial killer in Turfloop after Dragon and Alfios died and Bushang and his cousin found her hidden treasure (gun).
The Wednesday, 28 June teaser reveals that Pitsi’s life will hang in the balance and Rathebe might confess to being the shooter.
“A young boy’s life is on the line, and everyone is taken aback when the shooter confesses.” When things become heated in the interrogation room, lovers turn on each other.”
Both Alfred and Rathebe will be probed about the shooting, and Rathebe will bay for Alfred’s blood, according to the teasers.
