After more than a year of living in Dubai, former Muvhango actress and influencer Tebogo Thobejane has returned to her homeland of South Africa, where she is set to embark on a new venture – opening yet another strip club. This move comes after the closure of her previous establishment, Club X, located in Sandton, Johannesburg, Zimoja reported.
Tebogo’s decision to leave South Africa and relocate to Dubai was prompted by a harrowing incident that took place in October of last year. While in a car with a friend during an e-hailing ride, Tebogo found herself in the midst of a shooting, with her friend being hospitalized for weeks due to the injuries sustained. Although a suspect was subsequently arrested, the traumatic experience had a lasting impact on Tebogo, leading her to seek refuge in Dubai.
However, it seems that Tebogo’s time abroad has not dampened her entrepreneurial spirit. A source close to the former actress has revealed that she has now opened a new strip club, aptly named C30, in the heart of Sandton. Despite the risks involved, Tebogo is determined to make a fresh start in the competitive world of nightlife and entertainment.
Tebogo has confirmed the news to ZiMoja, openly acknowledging her involvement in the new venture. “I’m curating at the club. It’s a strip club called C30 in Sandton,” she stated. While she admits to still feeling apprehensive about the situation, Tebogo’s resilience shines through. “Of course I am scared, who wouldn’t be? I missed five bullets,” she said. “It takes a lot of strength and courage to try again, but the guy’s currently in jail.”
Tebogo’s decision to return to South Africa and venture into the strip club business once more is a testament to her unwavering spirit and her refusal to be deterred by the challenges she has faced.
