Natasha Joubert has been crowned as the new Miss SA 2023
Natasha Joubert, who was Miss SA second runner up in 2020, is the Miss SA 2023 winner this year.Natasha Joubert was crowned Miss SA on Sunday 13 August at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria, during the pageant’s glittering finale hosted by media personality Bonang Matheba.
The Top seven finalists competed in the finale after they were victorious from the Miss SA reality show Crown Chasers. Crown Chasers saw the Top 12 finalists compete for seven spots. Over the five-week run, one finalist was eliminated each week.
Natasha Joubert is a model and beauty queen and a familiar face to many. When the Miss SA Organisation announced the Top 30, many recognised Natasha. She was previously a Miss SA second runner up in 2020 while Shudu Musida was crowned Miss SA.
Natasha also represented South Africa at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant. The Miss SA Organisation told The South African that the pageant’s rules allowed Natasha to enter again.
The beauty queen is a BCom Marketing graduate. She has her own fashion brand called Natalia Jefferys – specialising in couture for special occasions like matric dances and weddings.
The Bcom graduate is 26 years, born on 23 July 1997. She is a three-time winner on the Miss SA reality show – Crown Chasers. Her height is 1.7m
Natasha Joubert holds a BCom Marketing Management degree from the University of Tshwane in Gauteng.
She is also the founder and designer of Natalia Jefferys, which she founded when she was 19 years old.
She enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. Speaking ahead of the finale on her Miss SA experience, she said her return to the pageant was a testimony.
“It feels surreal being back and being granted a second chance! I know this is a testimony I need to share and an incredible message: ‘You’re never a product of your circumstances, you’re a product of your choices.’ I felt incredible when I walked out of my interview knowing I wore my heart on my sleeve,” she said.
“I want to fully take on these new challenges, grow and evolve even more as a woman, but at the same time let go and enjoy every second. Our group of finalists is fierce! I will be forever grateful for this second chance!”
