Lerato Marabe was born in Vosloorus, Gauteng, on June 28, 1999.
She is now studying Film Editing at AFDA in Cape Town. Marabe is studying for her degree and also acting.
She discovered her passion for acting at the age of four and landed her first acting role at the age of five. She has since appeared in a number of television shows, including Takalani Sesame, Intersexions, and 90 Plein Street, to mention a few.
Marabe is most recognized for her role as Pretty Seakamela on Skeem Saam on SABC1. She has played the part for eight seasons in a row, beginning in 2011.
In the first season of the iconic South African television show Isibaya, the gifted actress also performed the character of Nelisa.
