Renowned actor Rapulana Seiphemo is set to make a comeback on SABC1’s soapie Generations: The Legacy, according to Phil Mphela
Seiphemo will reprise his role as Tau Mogale, with hints from TVSA’s July teasers suggesting a possible rekindling of his relationship with his baby mama, Ayanda (Samela Tyelbooi).
Teasers reads:
Wednesday 3 July: “Ayanda is shocked by who shows up on her doorstep.”
Friday 5 July 2024: “Two former lovers rekindle their flame.”
Wednesday 10 July: “Tau issues a subtle but pointed warning.”
The actor later featured in April, attending Musa Ngema’s character Mazwi Moroka’s funeral. Tau came back alongside Connie Ferguson’s Karabo Moroka, billed as guest stars for a brief storyline appearance.
Rapulana’s character was freed from jail for a murder committed by his baby mama, Ayanda. He disappeared when Ayanda was involved with actor Muzi Mthabela’s character, Nkosiyabo Cele.
Mthabela, who played Nkosiyabo Cele, left the SABC1 soapie on 5 June. He first appeared on 6 December 2021 as Siphesihle Cele’s uncle, Nkosiyabo Cele.
The actor landed a role in My Brother’s Keeper as the brother of the villainous Mshengu, portrayed by Lindani Nkosi.
