Olwethu Mackay, Senzo Zwide from House of Zwide, left the show on Monday, July 17, when his character was slain.
Olwethu Mackay, best known for his role as Vusi Kunene’s on-screen son Senzo Zwide in House of Zwide, confirmed to Sunday World on Tuesday, July 18 that he’s signed an agency.
Mackay informed the publication that he has recently joined an agency and is looking forward to seeing what they have in store for him.
He also mentioned that he’s been flexing his screenwriting muscles and communicating with numerous producers, screenwriters, and directors to fine-tune his work.
“I hope to expand my knowledge and skill set in this field.”
The outstanding actor also expressed gratitude to Bomb Productions for the opportunity to play the teen character in the e.tv fashion drama.
The 19-year-old AFDA student also stated that Bomb Productions gave him with life-changing experience and expertise that he may apply to future careers.
“They put me in a space with legends and allowed me to grow and gave me room to learn in that space. It is an opportunity that comes by once in a blue moon and they believed in me enough to take the leap by hiring a fresh face for the role.”
According to TVSA House of Zwide July teasers, the actor Olwethu Mackay, who played Funani Zwide’s youngest son Senzo Zwide for two seasons, was slain on Monday night’s program, July 17, when season three premiered.
The teasers also show that his parents, Faith (Winnie Ntshaba) and Funani, were saddened when they learned of their son’s death, and Faith was convinced it was the fault of Nandipha.
The autopsy report will establish that there was no foul play in Senzo’s death on Wednesday, July 19, but Funani will discover that the Doctor is in Nandipha’s pockets.
Senzo will be buried and his family will say their final goodbyes on Thursday, July 20: “Funani says some beautiful words to the Zwides as they lay their son to rest.”
