Senzo Meyiwa’s daughter celebrates her 15th birthday [pictures]
The late Senzo Meyiwa left a legacy as one of Mzansi’s top goalkeepers. The Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates player also left his imprint on his firstborn kid, Nana.
The adolescent, whose mother is Senzo’s widow Mandisa Mkhize, will be 15 on June 23, 2023.
On October 26, while visiting his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus, the soccer star was shot and died under unknown circumstances.
Senzo had two children, one with his wife Mandisa and one with his mistress Kelly, at the time of his death. According to News24, the Orlando Pirates hero had a three-month-old baby, who was introduced to his family after his funeral.
Unconfirmed sources claim that Senzo Meyiwa fathered a fourth kid, a daughter named Namhla.
Mandisa Mkhize wished her daughter a happy 15th birthday in an Instagram picture. She also uploaded old photos of Nana, who looks exactly like her famous father.
The outgoing adolescent enjoys fashion, hanging out with her friends, and spending quality time with her mother.
And, nearly a decade after the death of her famous father, admirers believe she looks more and more like Senzo.
“Like father like daughter” are some of the regular comments seen under posts of the young girl.
Thingo, Senzo Meyiwa’s second known daughter, was conceived with his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo. Thingo was barely seven months old when he died in 2014.
Thingo, who has no memories of her father, has inherited her soccer star’s looks. Fans have referred to the effervescent girl as “Senzo Meyiwa photocopy” and “Senzo’s replica.”
Thingo recently celebrated her ninth birthday, and like her half-sister, Nana loves mommy and daughter time. Although Nana and Thingo look like a carbon copy of their dad Senzo, it’s unclear if the siblings have ever met each other.
There isn’t much information available regarding Senzo Meyiwa’s other baby moms.
