Oh no, he’s got some specific criteria: the driver must have a valid driver’s license, at least two years of experience, and most importantly, must be sober—especially from Friday to Sunday. I mean, can you blame him?
Why the sudden need for a driver, you ask? Well, let’s backtrack a bit. Shebeshxt doesn’t just have a busy schedule; he’s been hot on the scene, headlining shows and sharing the stage with some really big names in the industry. That success, though, has been overshadowed by some seriously alarming incidents. I mean, two fatal accidents in just one year? Yikes.
The most recent accident happened in June when he was driving from Polokwane to drop off his daughter and her mom. Tragically, he collided with a truck on the R37 road, and sadly didn’t make it to his gig. That wasn’t the only scare; earlier this year, he was involved in another near-fatal crash. With all of that on his plate, it’s no wonder he’s searching for someone to take the wheel—literally!
In his post, he asked fans to pitch in with recommendations or even volunteer—he plans to pick someone from the comments. Fans have flooded the post with reactions, some applauding his decision and others suggesting he should consider a more permanent solution rather than just a weekend driver. One user chimed in with a strong point: “Her book those professionals, someone who aids by their company rules and contract of employment. Rather than just a random person without PDP.”
