The introduction of five Turfloop High learners in 2022 set the fire on Skeem Saam since they were introduced, but fans expect more from the characters since they take over from the previous group, which is now grown up.
Some of the previous Turf students are now parents, and some of them are facing the reality of life as adults, the likes of Tbose, Mapitsi, Leeto, Kanutus, Kwaito, etc. But now the group of Phillip Thobejane (Mahlatse), Zizo Sobhutyu (Mosebjadi), Mahlatse Moropo (Letetswe), Mosa Nkwashu (Lewatle), Thabiso Molokomme (Paxton Kgomo), and Letabo Mekoa (Ntswaki) are going to take over, and after they finish school, they are going to the real world, and we want them to face what other Turf students face.

But other X users commented that the future of Skeem Saam is in the hands of the 2022 group of students. We are going to see Pax maturing (Tbose) and dealing with divorce. Letetswe wants to build the Kunutu empire while continuing with his father’s legacy. Mosebjadi will overcome poverty, making his parents proud. Lewatle’s teen pregnancy (Mapitsi): just like what Mapitsi did, Lewatle will fall pregnant. Ntswaki’s issues (new Rachel)—the character of Ntswaki is so perfect to be our new Rachel.
If the predictions made by fans are true, Skeem Saam will continue to be one of the best educational TV shows that gives us story lines about what happens in our daily lives from school to the real world and the challenges we face and the life we lead after school. Of course, after the group of 2022, the writers are going to introduce new students, and what fans are waiting for is that after Pax’s group finishes school, they are going to continue in Skeem Saam storylines, or this is going to be the exit.
