Bahumi Mhlongo, 28, is suffering from an incurable disease, but this has not stopped her from achieving her dreams.
Bahumi’s courage to finally show her incurable disease also made other people speak about their conditions and face their fears.
One fan commented about her own incurable disease: “I’m happy that you could show your true self… Took me years to accept my condition”.
South Africans learned about Bahumi’s lymphedema condition in 2017. Her condition was discussed on an episode of her father’s hit reality show, ‘Living the Dream with Somizi’. Somizi had bought her a pair of Louis Vuitton pumps, noting that her feet were two different sizes.
Bahumi bravely shared a picture of her swollen legs for the first time in 2020.
“Being herself was her truest form of worship,” the actress captioned the image.
