Sonia Mbele is unhappy over reports that she got a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). A video of her went viral on social media, leading many to believe she bought a new body.
This was her first appearance in court since appearing twice on September 26 and October 5, when she and Real Housewives of South Africa (Pty) Ltd. (Rhosa), directors Yolisa Gqunta and Rebone Sesing, were charged with 41 counts of different tax evasion crimes.She missed court twice and eventually showed up for the third appearance on Friday, October 20.
She has also been silent on social media, especially Instagram, which she uses frequently.
When she didn’t attend the first two court appearances, she sent a medical certificate and released a statement saying she was struggling with a work burnout that turned chronic.
When others watched the video, they assumed she had a BBL and couldn’t attend court because she was healing.But Sonia, 46, was not discouraged.Her management team says she’s always had a big bum, and it’s not new.
“If you do your homework, you’ll know Sonia has been in and out of hospital since May. Everyone knows it takes six weeks, if not less, to heal from a procedure like BBL.
“Sonia’s butt had its own Facebook page at some point. This is not new,” they said.
