Okay, okay, settle down, Generations: The Legacy fans! We might have some exciting news brewing. Remember Namhla Diale, daughter of the legendary (and slightly terrifying) Jack Mabaso? Well, the actress who played her, Thuli Phongolo, just dropped a TikTok video that’s got everyone buzzing!
Thuli posted a video of herself chilling at Urban Brew Studios, and that’s the place where Generations is filmed! She captioned it with a cheeky, “You’re on set but then you realise your true calling.” Now, what could that possibly mean? Is she just visiting? Filming something else entirely? Or… could she be reprising her role as the tech-savvy Namhla?!
Remember, Thuli left Generations back in 2018 after playing the character for four years. It was a pretty emotional goodbye, with Thuli even posting a farewell message (that she later deleted, hmm…) thanking the show for letting her live her dream.
Since then, she’s been busy! We’ve seen her kill it in The Wife on Showmax and even pop up in Rockville. So, it’s not like she’s been missing in action.
But still, the thought of Namhla back in the mix is tempting. Think about the drama! The potential storylines! Imagine Jack Mabaso’s reaction! (Probably something involving a menacing stare and a cryptic threat, let’s be real.)
Of course, it’s just speculation at this point. But hey, a girl can dream, right? Let’s keep our eyes peeled and see if Thuli drops any more hints. In the meantime, I’m gonna go back and rewatch some classic Namhla moments. Bring on the drama, Generations!
