Thuso Mbedu shines as the L’Oréal Paris Sub-Saharan African ambassador.
Once again, South African excellence goes global!
Thuso Mbedu has gone from ‘The Woman King’ to being L’Oréal Paris’ first Sub-Saharan African ambassador.
L’Oréal Paris officially introduced the South African actress as their first-ever Sub-Saharan African Ambassador on Friday evening at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The Pietermaritzburg-born actress shined bright in a pink ensemble as she posed with celebrities and influencers who celebrated her moment.
Mbedu spoke at the occasion about her delight about becoming an L’Oréal Paris ambassador, stating that the firm assisted her with her skin troubles when she was younger.
Mbedu stated that L’Oréal Paris caters to people of all skin tones, especially those of African heritage.
The local actress also posted this event on Instagram, expressing her amazement and awe at the realization of a lifelong ambition.
What do we call it when the dream you didn’t dare to dream becomes a reality? 😯 Whatever that word is, it’s what we will call the night of @lorealparis in Sub-Saharan Africa as words are clearly failing me 😭
Thank you to every single person who made this a night to remember.
