Her fans gushed about her in the post’s comments section.This comes after the radio personality took to Instagram to give her friend Minnie Dlamini her flowers. She expressed that her friend pulled out of depression while she was just stuck in her bedroom, and put her on a flight.
Unathi has spoken publicly about her weight loss journey after welcoming her two children into the world – one of whom completed his matric in 2022.
“I tend to gain a lot of weight during pregnancy,” she told Women’s Health in 2015. Unathi gained 25kg during her first pregnancy and 28 during her second.
She gave the interview two years after revealing that she had lost nearly 30kg.
The former ‘Idols SA’ judge admitted that the extra weight she gained following her two pregnancies made her feel insecure. Her weight loss journey began when a friend challenged her to participate in the Unlimited Dusi Canoe Marathon, and the rest is history.
Unathi now works out at the gym almost every weekday and has also changed her diet. In a 2022 post, she revealed what she eats to stay fit.
“I had to work for it.” Every day, I’ve had to choose between my dreams and my work. Wanting to be happy has required me to get up and WORK on my happiness,” she wrote on Instagram in 2021.
