Menzi Ngubane was a South African actor, best known for playing the role of Sibusiso Dlomo in the soap opera Generations. He was a great actor, and his death really made pain to many of his fans around the world, but people always remember him because of his great career in the acting industry.
Recently, Wiseman Mncube joined a new drama series, My Brothers Keeper. The soap replaced Gomora, which came to an end a few days ago. My Brothers Keeper is a tale of a family thrown into a deadly succession battle of its own making, as Nqubeko, a headstrong and overambitious son of a mistress, breaks the rules of ‘ukungena’ by going after his brother’s widow, Fakazile.
The drama series premiered recently in October 2023, and fans are starting to love the show. A Twitter user praises Wiseman Mncube by giving him his flowers, saying he is following in Menzi Ngubane’s footsteps.
Wiseman has worked on numerous stage productions since graduating with a diploma in Drama from Durban University of Technology in 2011, including Nothing But the Truth, Horn of Sorrow, Meet Bro Six Two, Culture Clash, Amambazo The Musical, Have We Been Heard and Mashu the Musical.
His play The Weeping Candle won the Best Production and Best Script Awards at Khaya Multi-Art Centre in KwaMashu during the isiGcawu Festival in November 2012. It was later staged at the Stable Theatre in Durban.
