Wiseman Mncube, best known for his role as Sbonelo on the hit serial opera Uzalo, has announced his departure from the program.
While the actual reasons for his leave are unknown, according to a Daily Sun report, we have the inside scoop on his intriguing future move.
Wiseman Mncube, best known for his portrayal of Nkunzi’s (Msiza Masoja) son Sibonelo on Uzalo, has left the show.
Entertainment commentator @TvblogbyMLU has revealed that the actor Wiseman Mncube, who plays Sibonelo on SABC1’s soapie Uzalo has officially resigned from the show and joined My Brother’s Keeper.
Wiseman Mncube who plays Sibonelo on the number one leading show in Mzansi #Uzalo has officially resigned from the show. Mncube has then joined a new telenovela on DStv Mzansi magic that will replace #Gomoramzansi,” tweeted the commentator.
My Brother’s Keeper will replace the award-winning Gomora, according to Mzansi Magic’s Twitter account on Thursday, August 31.
Mncube has been cast in the starring role of Nqubeko, a headstrong and overambitious son of a mistress who is tired of being sidelined by his father, according to IOL.
Gomora, the multi-award-winning telenovela, will end its fourth season.
Wiseman Ncube, an Uzalo actor who recently acted in Mandoza in his biopics, has also played the roles of King Zwide in Shaka Ilembe and Mqhele in The Wife.
My Brother’s Keeper also stars Generations: The Legacy’s Zola Nombona, The Estate’s S’dumo Mtshali, Smoke and Mirrors’ Lindani Nkosi, Uzalo’s Nelisa Mchunu, Umkhokha: The Curse’s Nkanyiso Mchunu, and Scandal!’s Rosemary Zimu.
