Matriculant and actress Tsepo Doncabe, who acts in ‘Uzalo’ was supposedly booted out of school while filming ‘Shaka Ilembe’.
Tsepo Doncabe, best known for his role as Nkazimulo in Uzalo, was reportedly booted out of school after missing a month to film Shaka Ilembe.
According to Isolezwe, 17-year-old actor Tsepo Doncabe, who is in his final year of high school, missed four weeks of school while filming Shaka Ilembe.
In the Mzansi Magic drama series Shaka Ilembe, Doncane plays the younger version of King Sohlangana.
According to the publication, the actor was warned by the school not to return after completing production for the hit series, so the producers of Shaka Ilembe went to the school to explain the issue, and they took him back.
It is believed the actor was also told to leave acting as it interferes with his studies when he scored a role in Uzalo back in August 2022.
Doncane, who is doing his matric says he loves acting as he’s been doing theatre from a young age.

His character is a naive youngster who has a wonderful bond with his stepsister Sibongile (Luyanda Zwane), the show’s main character.
“While he is struggling in school, he has big dreams of finishing school, following in his sister’s footsteps, and possibly moving his family out of Ixopo,” the publication continues.
Doncabe also appears as Nkunzi’s (Masoja Msiza) grandson, Sibonelo’s (Wiseman Mncube) nephew, and Pastor Gwala’s (Menzi Biyela) son Nkazimulo in the SABC1 soapie Uzalo.
