SCANDAL! is a half-hour soap opera that airs daily (Monday through Friday) at 19h30 on e.tv, with an omnibus of the week’s episodes airing every Saturday.

2. SKEEM SAAM
The local drama series investigates the situation of today’s male children and the difficult hurdles they confront as they grow into men.
The series’ core thesis is that real men are created rather than born.

4. MUVHANGO
Duma Ndlovu developed the South African television soap opera Muvhango. It is shown on the public television station SABC 2 and has an average of 4 million viewers per day. The first episode aired on April 7, 1997.
It was the first Tshivenda language TV play, but it eventually became multilingual to demonstrate that South African languages and cultures should be used to unify rather than divide. Muvhango’s founder is Zulu by lineage, although he speaks Tshivenda and is fluent in all South African languages.

5. GENERATIONS THE LEGACY
Generations: The Legacy is a South African soap opera created and produced by Mfundi Vundla. It is a remake of the previous season’s Generations with more and different characters, like an anthology. Uzalo is a South African soap opera produced by Stained Glass Productions, which is co-owned by Kobedi “Pepsi” Pokane and Gugu Zuma-Ncube.
